Magnum Hunter Resources (MHR) recently started drilling the Weese Hunter #1001, the company’s first horizontal well in the Marcellus Shale. The Weese Hunter #1001 well is located in Tyler County, West Virginia.
Magnum Hunter Resources plans to spud the Weese Hunter #1002 shortly and anticipates production results on both these Marcellus Shale wells in November 2010.
