EQT Corp (EQT) reported operational statistics for the company’s Marcellus Shale properties during the first quarter of 2011. The company has approximately 520,000 net acres under lease across West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
EQT Corp drilled 23 horizontal wells targeting the Marcellus Shale during the first quarter of 2011 and reported average daily production of 179 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalents per day. The company expects to reach production of 280 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalents per day by the end of 2011.
