Rex Energy (REXX) issued an operations update on its development activity in Westmoreland and Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, where the company is involved in developing the Marcellus Shale formation as a non operated partner with Williams Companies. The company has a working interest of 40% in this area.
Rex Energy said that two out of five wells from the Uschak area in Westmoreland County have been completed and averaged production of 7.6 million cubic feet of natural gas equivalents per day during the first five days of production. The company is also conducting operations from the National Metal, Frye and Marco Pads.
