Anadarko Petroleum (APC) issued an operations update on its properties in Pennsylvania that are prospective for the Marcellus Shale. The company exited the third quarter of 2010 operating six rigs and spud eighteen wells and completed five wells during the quarter.
Anadarko Petroleum reported gross production of 175 million cubic feet per day from 46 wells during the third quarter of 2010. The company recently started up the Grugan gas gathering and processing system and plans to increase capacity here from 600 million to 1.15 billion cubic feet per day.
