CNX Gas Corporation (CXG) announced the completion results of a well on its properties in the Marcellus Shale.
The GH2BCV well has produced an average of 4.9 million cubic feet per day of natural gas for the first 16 days. The peak production was 5.7 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, and the well is currently producing at 5.5 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
The GH2BCV well was completed with a 7 stage hydraulic fracturing operation and a 2,035 foot lateral. The GH2BCV well is located in Greene County, Pennsylvania.
CNX Gas Corporation is currently producing 21 million cubic feet per day of natural gas from 16 wells in the Marcellus Shale. The company has allocated $110 million in 2010 to develop the Marcellus Shale.
