CNX Gas (CXG) reported three Marcellus Shale well completions during the first quarter of 2010.
The GH 2B CV averaged 5.0 million cubic feet per day for the first 47 days of production, and had a peak rate of 5.7 million cubic feet per day. The company used a 2,300 foot lateral on this Marcellus Shale well.
The GH 10 CV was drilled with a 1,500 foot lateral and had an average production rate of 4.1 million cubic feet per day during the first 17 days.
The GH 11B CV was drilled with an 1,800 foot lateral and 3 frac stages, and produced 2.2 million cubic feet per day.
CNX Gas is no longer an independent company and was purchased by CONSOL Energy (CNX) in early 2010.
