EQT Corporation (EQT) reported the completion of two recent wells drilled into the Marcellus Shale.
The Cooper 590384 well produced an average of 22 million cubic feet equivalent per day during the first thirty days of production. This Marcellus Shale well was drilled with a 9,000 foot lateral and completed with a 28 stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
The Cooper 590384 well is located in Greene County, Pennsylvania, and cost $7.1 million to drill and complete. EQT Corporation expects the estimated ultimate recovery on the well to be 18 billion cubic feet.
The Rosborough 590259 Marcellus Shale well is located in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and was reported with a 24 hour initial production rate of 15 million cubic feet equivalent.
