Comstock Resources (CRK) reported its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2009, and issued an operational update on its acreage in the Logansport field of the Haynesville Shale. The company drilled five recent wells in the Logansport Field, which is located in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana.
Collins 10 #1H – Initial production rate of 17 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,460 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,452 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages.
Caraway 29 #1H - Initial production rate of 18.9 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,080 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,461 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages.
Whitehead 9 #1H - Initial production rate of 20.3 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,421 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,403 feet and 18 hydraulic fracturing stages.
Lackey 21 #1H - Initial production rate of 14.7 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,465 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,436 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages.
Horn 8 #1H – Initial production rate of 17.5 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,228 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,371 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages.
