Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (GDP) announced the results of four recent wells in the Haynesville Shale. Goodrich Petroleum Corporation operates one of the wells, and the other three are non-operated in association with Chesapeake Energy (CHK). All four wells were drilled and completed horizontally utilizing multi stage hydraulic fracturing.
The Taylor Sealey No. 3H well is located in Panola County, Texas. The well produced at a 24-hour initial production rate of 9.3 MMcf. Goodrich Petroleum Corporation is the operator of this well.
The non-operated wells and the working interest (WI) of Goodrich Petroleum are:
Johnson 32H-1 (31% WI) - 24-hour initial production rate of 12.5 MMcf per day.
Wallace 36H-1 (22% WI) - 24-hour initial production rate of 15.4 MMcf per day.
Bryan 25H-1 (13% WI) - 24-hour initial production rate of 14.0 MMcf per day.
All three wells are in the Bethany-Longstreet field in Caddo and DeSoto Parishes, Louisiana.
Goodrich Petroleum Corporation also said that it reached total depth on two additional horizontal Haynesville Shale wells in East Texas.
The company will soon commence completion operations on the T. Swiley No. 4H (Minden Field) and the Beard Taylor No. 1H, (Beckville Field).
