Comstock Resources (CRK) reported its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2009, and issued an operational update on its acreage in the Mansfield field of the Haynesville Shale. The company drilled one recent well in the Mansfield Field, which is located in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana.
Calhoun #1H – Initial production rate of 17.5 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 12,306 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 3,723 feet and 10 hydraulic fracturing stages
