Goodrich Petroleum - Haynesville Shale - Bethany Longstreet Update

Goodrich Petroleum (GDP) released an operational update on its activities in the Haynesville Shale in Louisiana. The company has acreage in the Bethany Longstreet Field in Louisiana.

Bethany Longstreet Field

The Bethany Longstreet Field is located in DeSoto and Caddo Parish in Louisiana. During the first quarter of 2010, the company drilled 10 gross, or 3 net wells into the Haynesville Shale.

Goodrich Petroleum is operating 3 rigs on its joint venture acreage with Chesapeake Energy (CHK), and completed 7 wells.

Goodrich Petroleum said that on its non joint venture acreage, the company drilled and completed the Garland 24H-1 well into the Haynesville Shale. The well had an initial production rate of 14.5 million cubic feet equivalent per day.

Goodrich Petroleum Sets 2010 Capital Budget Targeting Haynesville Shale

Goodrich Petroleum (GDP) announced a $230 million capital budget for 2010, targeted mostly toward developing its Haynesville Shale acreage in Louisiana and Texas. The company said that its capital plan would allow it to drill 46 gross (24 net) horizontal wells in 2010.

Production growth in 2010 is estimated at 15-25% based on this budget. Goodrich Petroleum also said that it purchased approximately 12,000 net acres in Nacogdoches and Angelina Counties in Texas, bringing its total net acreage across the entire Haynesville Shale play to 85,000 net acres.

Goodrich Petroleum announced the completion of two Haynesville Shale wells in the Bethany-Longstreet Field located in Caddo and DeSoto Parishes, Louisiana:

Garland 25 H-1 – completed with an initial 24-hour peak production rate of 20.2 million cubic feet per day.

Sentell 35 H-1 - completed with an initial 24-hour peak production rate of 13.9 million cubic feet per day.

Goodrich Petroleum Reports Six Haynesville Shale Completions

Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (GDP) released an operational update on its properties in the Haynesville Shale, including completion data on six wells.

Bethany-Longstreet Field (Louisiana)

The Johnson 10H-1 had a 24-hour initial production rate of 17.0 million cubic feet (MMCF) per day, and the Dixie 31H-1 had a 24-hour initial production rate of 14.4 MMCF per day. Chesapeake Energy (CHK) operated both wells.

Goodrich Petroleum Corporation is currently completing the Hunsicker 13H-1, the Caddo Parish 30H-1, and the Plants 26H-1.

Greenwood-Waskom Field (Louisiana)

The Trosper 2H-1 had a 24-hour initial production rate of 11.7 MMCF per day.
 
Longwood Field (Texas)

Goodrich Petroleum Corporation completed the Bohnert 25H-1. The well had a 24-hour initial production rate of 7.5 MMCF per day.

Beckville/Minden Fields (Texas)

Goodrich Petroleum Corporation completed the Swiley 4H which had a 24-hour initial production rate of 7.0 MMCF per day. The Beard-Taylor 1H was also completed at a 24 hour initial production rate of 6.5 MMCF.
