Cabot Oil and Gas (COG) issued an operational update on its activities in the Haynesville Shale in Texas and Louisiana.
The company just completed its second horizontal well in the Haynesville Shale. The well produced at a maximum rate of 20.5 million cubic feet per day and at a restricted 24-hour rate of 15.5 million cubic feet per day.
Cabot Oil and Gas said that this Haynesville Shale well was drilled with a lateral length of 4,925 feet and a sixteen stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
Cabot Oil and Gas said that the company has three other wells undergoing completion operations and six other wells either drilling or waiting on completion in the Haynesville Shale.
