El Paso (EP) has 40,000 net acres prospective for the Haynesville Shale in Texas and Louisiana, with half of this acreage in the Holly area in Desoto Parish, Louisiana.
El Paso reported net production from the Haynesville Shale of 265 million cubic feet of natural gas per day as of 5/24/2011. El Paso is operating a four rig drilling program in the Haynesville Shale in 2011.
El Paso has 410 future drilling locations into the Haynesville Shale as of the end of 2010, and has 58 producing operated wells as of the end of 2010.
