Comstock Resources (CRK) reported its earnings for the fourth quarter of 2009, and issued an operational update on its acreage in the Toledo Bend North field of the Haynesville Shale. The company drilled three recent wells in the Toledo Bend North Field, which is located in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana.
BSMC 11 #1H – Initial production rate of 7.3 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,488 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,431 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages.
BSMC 13 #1H - Initial production rate of 11 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,585 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,501 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages.
BSMC 5 #2H - Initial production rate of 8.7 million cubic feet per day, and drilled to a vertical depth of 11,467 feet. This well was completed with a lateral of 4,571 feet and 12 hydraulic fracturing stages
