Crimson Exploration (CXPO) updated its operations in the Eagle Ford Shale, including initial production on two recent wells.
Crimson Exploration said that the Windham #1 well went onto production on January 25, 2011, at a 24 hour initial production rate of 4.7 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 202 barrels per day of oil. The Windham #1 Eagle Ford Shale well is and currently producing at a rate of 4.3 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 240 barrels per day of oil.
Crimson Exploration said that the Born #1 well went onto production on January 25, 2011, at a 24 hour initial production rate of 2.9 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 22 barrels per day of oil. The Born #1 Eagle Ford Shale well is and currently producing at a rate of 2.3 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 10 barrels per day of oil.
Crimson Exploration is currently drilling the Littlepage McBride #1 well targeting the Eagle Ford Shale in Karnes County. The Littlepage McBride #1 well was drilled with a 4,800 foot lateral and completion operations are expected to begin in late March 2011.
