The Eagle Ford Shale - St. Mary Land & Exploration Company

St. Mary Land & Exploration Company (SM) has built a large acreage position in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. The company has a total of 225,000 acres located in Dimmitt, LaSalle, Maverick and Webb Counties.

St. Mary Land & Exploration Company has a 100% interest in 159,000 acres, and another 66,000 acres in a joint venture with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (APC) and TXCO Resources (TXCO).

St. Mary Land & Exploration Company is currently completing the Shape Ranch 1-H well, which is located in Dimmitt County. The company currently has two drilling rigs operating in the Eagle Ford Shale, and plans on drilling four additional wells - two on its own acreage, and two in its joint venture with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and TXCO Resources. ___________________________________________________________________
