Comstock Resources (CRK) reported the production results for four wells drilled into the Eagle Ford Shale formation in South Texas. Comstock Resources said that all these wells were producing under a restricted choke.
Comstock Resources said that the Cutter Creek #1H well produced at an initial rate of 608 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day. The production was composed of 575 barrels of oil and 200,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Cutter Creek #1H well was drilled with a 4,824 foot lateral.
The Forrest Wheeler #1H well produced at an initial rate of 597 BOE per day. The production was composed of 480 barrels of oil and 700,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Forrest Wheeler #1H well was drilled with a 5,458 foot lateral.
The Rancho Tres Hijos "A" #1H well produced at an initial rate of 565 BOE per day. The production was composed of 465 barrels of oil and 600,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Rancho Tres Hijos "A" #1H well was drilled with a 4,512 foot lateral.
The Jupe "A" #1H well produced at an initial rate of 218 BOE per day. The production was composed of 197 barrels of oil and 100,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. The Jupe "A" #1H well was drilled with a 7,101 foot lateral.
