EOG Resources (EOG) reported the completion of two wells in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas. The company recently disclosed a significant acreage position here.
The Milton #1H well is located in Karnes County, and produced at an initial production rate of 668 barrels per day. This Eagle Ford Shale well was drilled with a 1,800 foot lateral and the company used 2.1 million pounds of proppant to complete the well. EOG Resources said that the well had an estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of 117,000 barrels oil equivalent (BOE).
The Milton #3H well is located in Karnes County, and produced at an initial production rate of 909 barrels per day. The Milton #3H well was drilled with a 2,400 foot lateral, and completed with 3 million pounds of proppant. EOG Resources said that this Eagle Ford Shale well had an estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of 365,000 BOE.
