Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation (COG) reported the completion of the company’s second well in the Eagle Ford Shale.
The Arminius Energy Trust #1 well was a horizontal well drilled with a lateral length of 5,840 feet and completed with a 20 stage hydraulic fracturing operation. The well produced at a 24 hour rate of 759 barrels of oil and one million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
The Arminius Energy Trust #1 well is located in Frio County, Texas. Cabot Oil and Gas has finished drilling two other wells in the Eagle Ford Shale, and expects them to be completed in October and early November 2010.
