Crimson Exploration (CXPO) issued an operational update on the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas. The company has 8,000 net acres prospective for this formation.
The Littlepage McBride #3H well started production at a gross rate of 1,045 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day. The production was composed of 965 barrels of oil and 479,000 cubic feet of gas per day.
The Littlepage McBride #4H well started production at a gross rate of 1,126 BOE per day. The production was composed of 1,002 barrels of oil and 744,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The Littlepage McBride #3H and Littlepage McBride #4H wells are both located in Karnes County, Texas.
Crimson Exploration also reported on the status of several other wells targeting the Eagle Ford Shale.
Littlepage McBride #6H – Completed drilling to a total measured depth of 16,059 feet, including a 5,290 foot lateral.
Littlepage McBride #5H - Completed drilling to a total measured depth of 16,200 feet, including a 5,460 foot lateral.
Crimson Exploration expects to complete the Littlepage McBride #6H and Littlepage McBride #5H wells during the fourth quarter of 2011.The company will then start drilling the Littlepage McBride #7H and Glasscock #1H wells during the first quarter of 2012.
Crimson Exploration recently started drilling the Beeler #1H well in Dimmit County, Texas. The company will then start drilling the KM Ranch #2H well in Zavala County, Texas.
