Magnum Hunter Resources (MHR) released an operational update on its activities in the Eagle Ford Shale.
The Southern Hunter #1-H well is located in Gonzales County and is currently being drilled. The company has scheduled a completion operation on this well in December 2010. Magnum Hunter Resources is the operator of the well and has a 50% working interest in the Southern Hunter #1-H well.
The Cinco Ranch #2-H well is located in Gonzales County and was spud on November 2, 2010. This is a non-operated well for Magnum Hunter Resources and the company has a 50% working interest in the Cinco Ranch #2-H well.
The Lagunillas Camp #1-H is located in Atascosa County and is currently undergoing a fifteen stage hydraulic fracturing operation. Magnum Hunter Resources expects first production on November 20, 2010. This is the company’s first well in Atascosa County and Magnum Hunter Resources has a 100% working interest.
The Lagunillas Camp #2-H is located in Atascosa County and is currently being cleaned up after a completion operation. The company expects production to be approximately 500 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
Magnum Hunter Resources reported earlier an initial production rate of 605 barrels of oil equivalent per day on the Gonzo Hunter # 1-H well.
