Pioneer Natural Resources Company (PXD) reported the completion of a well in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas. This was the company’s fourth horizontal well completion in the Eagle Ford Shale.
The company said that the Handy Gas Unit #1 well produced at an initial production rate of 19.9 million cubic feet of gas equivalent per day composed of 7.7 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and 2,030 barrels of condensate per day.
The Handy Gas Unit #1 is located on the company’s Eagle Ford Shale acreage in Karnes County, Texas. The well was drilled with a 4400 foot lateral, and a 12 stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
