Crimson Exploration (CXPO) disclosed first quarter of 2011 activity in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas.
Crimson Exploration said that the Littlepage McBride #1H well, averaged production of 600 barrels of oil per day during the first 30 days, and is currently producing at a rate of 535 barrels of oil per day. The Littlepage McBride #1H well is located in Karnes County, and the company plans to start drilling the Littlepage McBride #2H and the Littlepage McBride #3H Eagle Ford Shale wells during July and August 2011.
In Zavala County, Crimson Exploration is currently drilling the KM Ranch #1H well to a measured depth of 12,500 feet. The company has approximately 5,500 net acres in Zavala and Dimmit County, and estimated that the acreage has 147 drilling locations into the Eagle Ford Shale.
