Comstock Resources (CRK) reported operational statistics and other information on the company’s oil and gas activity in the Eagle Ford Shale during the first quarter of 2011.
Comstock Resources drilled the Carlson #1H well, located in McMullen County. The Carlson #1H well tested at an initial rate of 585 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day, consisting of 548 barrels of oil per day and 200,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Comstock Resources drilled the Swenson #1H well, located on the Wheeler Ranch in McMullen County. The Swenson #1H well tested at an initial rate of 1,264 BOE per day, consisting of 1,045 barrels of oil per day and 1.3 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Comstock Resources drilled the Coates A #1H, located in Karnes County. The Coates A #1H well tested at an initial rate of 538 BOE per day, consisting of 507 barrels of oil per day and 200,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day.
Comstock Resources plans to drill 21 net wells on its Eagle Ford Shale acreage in 2011, targeting liquid hydrocarbons.
what is going on in central Frio County? Is that area considered in the oil window of the eagleford play or is it too far north?

We have land in McMullen County. Nancy Shawver -- Joyce Kay(Holloway) Henry - Doris Kay. Will we be a candidate for a well?
