Carrizo Oil and Gas (CRZO) issued an operations update on its properties in Texas that are prospective for the Eagle Ford Shale.
Carrizo Oil and Gas reported that the Mumme 20H well started production in January 2011, and had a peak twenty hour gross production rate of 760 barrels of oil per day, and 950,000 cubic feet per day of natural gas. During the most recent week of production, the Mumme 20H well produced at a net rate of 344 barrels of oil per day, and 634,000 cubic feet per day of natural gas.
Carrizo Oil and Gas said that this Eagle Ford Shale well is being produced under a restrained choke, and is located in LaSalle County, Texas.
Carrizo Oil and Gas is currently completing the Bear Clause 10H well and plans to move a rig into the Eagle Ford Shale in March 2011 to conduct further drilling.
