EOG Resources estimates that it has an average of estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of 385,000 barrels oil equivalent (BOE) per well, and 42 million barrels of oil per section. The company is using a recovery factor of 3.8%.
EOG Resources provided additional details on the Western portion of its acreage in the Eagle Ford Shale. The company has 278,000 acres in this portion of the Eagle Ford Shale located in McMullen, LaSalle, Frio and Atascosa Counties.
EOG Resources estimates that it has an average of estimated ultimate recovery (EUR) of 254,000 barrels oil equivalent (BOE) per well, and 49 million barrels of oil per section. The company is using a recovery factor of 2.6%.
