Petrohawk Energy (HK) announced the completion of its second well at the Black Hawk prospect in DeWitt County, Texas. The company said that the Lanik #1H had an initial production rate of 2.7 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 930 barrels per day of oil.
The first successful well at the Black Hawk prospect was the Krause #1H, which had an initial production rate of 3.3 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, and 1,150 barrels of condensate per day.
The Krause #1H well averaged 3 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 960 barrels of condensate per day for the first 30 days of production.
please find out when petrohawk will get their easement problems in mcmullen county solved w donnell wells, and get them online, wells are 8-9 mos old and still not producing. also drilled and completed lowe 1-3H wells are waiting to be online. what a deal...

I heard lease bonuses in DeWitt County are over $5,000.00 an acre near these wells in the oil window. Can anyone confirm or provide additional information on the area? EOG is downright giddy about their acreage.
