Rosetta Resources (ROSE) released an update on its activity in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas. The company now has 61,000 net acres in the play distributed as follows:
Gates Ranch - 29,000 acres – Condensate area
Springer Ranch - 14,000 acres – Dry gas area
Undisclosed area – 18,000 acres
Rosetta Resources has two producing Eagle Ford Shale wells, and the wells produced an average of 4.3 million cubic feet equivalent per day in the fourth quarter of 2009. The company has four rigs currently operating in the Eagle Ford Shale.
