Crimson Exploration Inc. (CXPO) released an operations update on its acreage in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas. During the fourth quarter of 2009, Crimson Exploration drilled an Eagle Ford Shale test well at the Pawnee prospect in Bee County.
The Dubose #1 well was drilled to approximately 13,200 feet and completed with production of 600,000 cubic feet per day of natural gas. Crimson Exploration has 2800 gross acres around the DuBose #1 well, and plans on drilling one well in 2010 on its Eagle Ford Shale acreage.
