A recent report from the Real Estate firm of Marcus & Millichap details the economic impact on Texas due to the slowdown in drilling activity in the Barnett Shale. The report said that more than 30,000 jobs have been eliminated since mid 2008 due to the decline in development of the Barnett Shale.
