EOG Resources (EOG) issued an operations update for the second quarter of 2010 on its activities in the Barnett Shale in Texas, where the company is focusing on the Barnett Shale combo play, located to the north of the traditional play. EOG Resources reported the completion of four Barnett Shale combo wells here during the second quarter of 2010.
The King #1H produced 344 barrels per day of oil, and 2.5 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. The Olden B#1H produced 323 barrels per day of oil, and 1.7 million cubic feet per day of natural gas. The Alamo B#6H produced 500 barrels per day of oil. All three wells are in Montague County. The Richardson #3H well is located in Cooke County and produced 323 barrels per day of oil.
