Quicksilver Resources (KWK) released an operational update on its acreage in the Barnett Shale in Texas. During the first quarter of 2010, the company drilled 28 gross, or 22.4 net wells, and brought 21 gross, or 16.9 net wells onto production.
Quicksilver Resources has 3 rigs operating, and plans on drilling 98 wells in the Barnett Shale in 2010. The company also plans on completing 25 wells that have already been drilled. Quicksilver Resources expects to end 2010 with 120 drilled but uncompleted wells in the Barnett Shale.
