Devon Energy (DVN) reported that the company’s natural gas processing plant in Canadian County, Oklahoma was damaged by a recent tornado. The plant processes production from the Cana Woodford Shale in that area.
Devon Energy said that approximately 36 million cubic feet of natural gas and 2,000 barrels of natural gas liquids per day of the company’s production are curtailed due to the damage. The company is still producing 100 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 5,000 barrels of natural gas liquids per day from the Cana Woodford Shale
Devon Energy said that the damage to the plant was “significant” and estimated that it would take up to 90 days to repair the Cana Woodford Shale natural gas processing facility.
