Swift Energy (SFY) has initiated the company’s development program in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas, and reported the results of 3 recent wells completed on its acreage. The company has 75,000 net acres prospective for the Eagle Ford Shale.
The wells, location and initial production rates are as follows:
Fasken EF 1H – Webb County – 9.4 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
PCQ 1H - McMullen County – 1.1 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, and 1,134 barrels of oil per day.
Bracken JV 1H - McMullen County – 9.0 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
Swift Energy is currently completing the Hayes 1H Eagle Ford Shale well, located in McMullen County. The company is also drilling an additional 2 wells in the area.
