Brigham Exploration (BEXP) reported an update on its drilling activity in Montana where the company is developing the Bakken Shale
Brigham Exploration has completed drilling operations on the Charley 10-15 #1H well in Roosevelt County and is drilling additional Bakken wells in Richland County, Montana.
Brigham Exploration recently recompleted the Voss 21-11H Bakken well located in Richland County. The well was originally completed in 2007 and has produced 59,000 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) since that time. The company reported that the Voss 21-11H well had a 24-hour peak rate of approximately 1,143 BOE per day.
Brigham Exploration reported that the company has four wells flowing back fluid, two wells undergoing hydraulic fracturing operations, and 14 wells that are waiting on completion. During the second quarter of 2011 the company has put 14 gross wells onto sales and plans to add between 6 to 8 more wells before the end of the quarter.
