EOG Resources (EOG) issued an operational update on its activities in various unconventional shale basins in North America.
The company provided new information on its activities in the Bakken Shale in North Dakota, where it has 580,000 net acres under lease, and expects production to average 32,500 net barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2010.
The company reported that the Van Hook 11-02H in the Parshall Field was completed and producing with an initial production rate of 1,565 barrels of oil per day.
EOG Resources also said that the Fertile 13-18H was producing at an initial production rate of 1,153 barrels of oil per day, and the Austin 23-32H was producing at an initial production rate of 955 barrels of oil per day.
EOG Resources also reported that in its Bakken Lite project area, the Sidonia 18-14 was completed and producing at an initial production rate of 719 barrels of oil per day.
