Brigham Exploration Company (BEXP) reported the completion results of two wells in the Bakken Shale in Williams County in North Dakota.
The Jackson 35-34 #1H produced 3,540 barrels oil equivalent (BOE) consisting of 3,064 barrels of oil per day and 2.86 million cubic feet per day of natural gas during a 24 hour flow back period.
The Owan-Nehring 27-34 #1H produced 2,513 BOE consisting of 2,215 barrels of oil per day and 1.79 million cubic feet per day of natural gas during a 24 hour flow back period.
Both wells were completed using a 30 stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
The Jackson 35-34 #1H was Brigham’s second best completion to date in the Bakken Shale, with only the State 36-1 #1H coming in with a higher initial production rate at 3,807 BOE.
