Northern Oil and Gas (NOG) issued an update on the company’s activities in North Dakota and Montana, where the company is developing the Bakken Shale on its acreage.
Northern Oil and Gas reported the results of six Bakken Shale well completions that the company participated in on a non operated basis. The names, locations and initial production rates of the wells are below:
Mustang #1-22H – 1,829 barrels of oil per day - Mountrail County
Alamo #2-19-18H – 1,285 barrels of oil per day - Mountrail County
Hunter #1-8-17H – 1,699 barrels of oil per day - Mountrail County
Porcupine #1-19H – 1,566 barrels of oil per day – Dunn County
Tveit 25-36 #1H – 501 barrels of oil per day - Richland County
Rascal #1-18H – 707 barrels of oil per day – Richland County
In North Dakota, Northern Oil and Gas is waiting on the completion of the Bighorn #1-6H and Crosby Creek #1-5H wells.
In Montana, the Rascal #1-18H is located at the Big Sky/Lambert prospect, and was a test of the Upper Bakken Shale.
