American Oil and Gas (AEZ) reported the completion of a well in the Bakken Shale. The company said that the Summerfield 15-15H well was producing 2,799 barrels oil equivalent (BOE), consisting of 2,178 barrels of oil and 3.7 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, during an early 24 hour flow back period.
The Summerfield 15-15H well is located in Dunn County, North Dakota, and was drilled with a 4,051 foot lateral, and completed with a 14 stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
American Oil and Gas also updated production statistics for the Ron Viall 1-25H well located in Williams County, North Dakota. The well produced 2,844 BOE per day during an early 24 hour flow back period, and averaged 1,748 BOE per day during the first 7 days of production.
American Oil and Gas will soon start completion operations on 2 other Bakken Shale wells. The Johnson 15-35H and the Bergstrom 15-23H wells will start completion in the June to July 2010 time period.
