Fladeland 12-10H – Produced at a 24 hour test rate of 4,431 barrels oil equivalent (BOE) composed of 4,126 barrels of oil and 1.8 million cubic feet of natural gas. The well was drilled on 1,280 acre spacing and completed with a 30 stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
Hansen 12-20H - Produced at a 24 hour test rate of 4,144 barrels oil equivalent (BOE) composed of 3,863 barrels of oil and 1.7 million cubic feet of natural gas. The well was completed with a 18 stage hydraulic fracturing operation.
Whiting Petroleum Corporation has 20 Bakken Shale wells either being drilled or waiting on completion here, as of 7/20/2010. The company plans to drill a total of 88 gross, or 53 net Bakken Shale wells here in 2010, and estimates that it has 57 Bakken Shale locations left in the Sanish Field. Recent well costs are estimated at slightly less than $5.0 million per well.
