Magnum Hunter Resources (MHR) released an update on the company’s operations in North Dakota and Canada. The company has a total of 81,740 net acres of exposure to the Bakken Shale and other formations.
Magnum Hunter Resources reported the production results for two wells drilled into the Bakken formation in Burke and Divide Counties in North Dakota. The Eagle 22-15-163-95 well produced 587 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day during an initial 24 hour test period, and the Peters 1-12-160-93 well produced 506 BOE per day during an initial 24 hour test period. Magnum Hunter Resources has a total of 46,500 net acres in Burke and Divide Counties, North Dakota.
Magnum Hunter Resources has 35,240 net acres located in the Tableland Field in Saskatchewan, Canada. The company recently completed a well into the Three Forks formation and reported a 24 hour production rate of 300 BOE per day. Another was recently drilled and is waiting on completion.
