Continental Resources reported average production of 25, 523 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE) per day in the first quarter of 2011. This Bakken production was up 67% on a year over year basis and 13% on a sequential basis.
Continental Resources participated in completing 58 gross or 19.4 net Bakken wells in the first quarter of 2011. The company’s operated wells had an average initial production rate of 1,048 BOE per day during the quarter.
